Following the death of country music icon Dolly Parton at age 80, her sister Stella Parton has shared personal insights into the singer's legendary commitment to her glamorous image.

Stella revealed during an interview on ‘CBS Mornings’ that Dolly maintained her signature look even in private settings, noting that she would often go to bed with her makeup on when staying overnight at her sister's house. Stella remarked that without her wigs and makeup, Dolly looked much like herself.

Dolly Parton, known for her extravagant wigs, rhinestones, and high heels, frequently spoke about her dedication to personal grooming. She previously mentioned that she maintained her appearance at home to be prepared for unannounced visitors or repairs. She also noted that staying well-groomed helped maintain a ‘prickly’ and vibrant relationship with her husband, Carl Dean.
