Dolomites ski resorts to refund skipass holders after antitrust settlement

Ski resorts in the Dolomites will refund a portion of costs to skipass holders from the last three winter seasons. This measure follows an investigation by the Italian antitrust authority into the Dolomiti SuperSki association regarding anti-competitive behavior.

Under the settlement, a total budget of 30 million euros has been allocated for compensation. Holders of single-day or multi-day valley skipasses from the 2022/2023, 2023/2024, and 2024/2025 seasons can choose between a direct refund of 20 percent of the paid amount or a 30 percent discount on future purchases.

Of the total fund, 12 million euros is designated for direct refunds and 18 million euros for discounts. Applications will be accepted via an application on the Dolomiti SuperSki portal starting October 15, until the funds are exhausted. Applicants must provide proof of purchase, such as a card number, purchase confirmation, or a bank statement.
