Dolomiti Superski launches skipass refund and voucher platform

The Dolomiti Superski ski circuit has launched an online platform for customers to claim refunds or discounts following an agreement with the Italian Competition Authority (Agcm). The initiative, funded by 30 million euros provided by twelve valley consortia, allows eligible customers to choose between a 20% refund or a 30% discount voucher.

The program applies to customers who purchased specific skipass types—including daily and multi-day passes with validity between 1 and 31 days—during the 2022/23, 2023/24, and 2024/25 winter seasons. Certain pass types, such as seasonal passes, Ikon Pass, and half-day passes, are excluded from the scheme.

Following the launch on October 15, the application process has faced significant technical difficulties. Users have reported long wait times exceeding four hours, website errors, and system freezes due to high traffic. The official portal has implemented a virtual queue to manage the influx of requests, leading to frustration among customers attempting to access the service.
