Domen Prevc takes second in Klingenthal Continental Cup

In the first Continental Cup competition in Klingenthal, Germany, Austrian jumper Clemens Aigner secured first place with jumps of 132 and 135 meters. Slovenia’s Domen Prevc finished in second place, recording jumps of 125.5 and 141.5 meters. Despite a mistake in his first series, Prevc noted that the hill suited him and allowed him to remain competitive in the final round.

Other notable performances included Jakub Wolny of Poland in third place, Anže Lanišek in sixth, and Rok Oblak in the top ten. The competition serves as a critical opportunity for Slovenian athletes to earn points toward the second-tier general classification and secure additional starting spots for the 2026/27 World Cup season. Prevc previously led the training session in Klingenthal with a jump of 145.5 meters.
