Ski jumping Continental Cup in Klingenthal

Overview

The 2026 Summer Continental Cup in Klingenthal, Germany, concluded with Clemens Aigner of Austria securing the overall series classification title. Aigner achieved a perfect season, winning all six competitions.

In the final weekend at the Vogtland Arena, Aigner secured a double victory. In the first competition, he won with jumps of 132 and 135 meters, while Slovenia’s Domen Prevc finished in second place. In the final event on Sunday, Aigner claimed victory again with jumps of 142 and 137.5 meters.

Anže Lanišek finished second in the final event following a sixth-place finish on Saturday. Raffael Zimmermann and Lukas Haagen also secured podium positions during the series for the Austrian team. Poland’s Jakub Wolny recorded a third-place finish on Saturday and fifth on Sunday.

The final round was marked by the disqualification of Domen Prevc. Despite a jump of 143.5 meters, Prevc was disqualified due to suit permeability issues, specifically a 15-millimeter violation regarding his upper trouser leg dimensions. This infraction resulted in a yellow card valid for the next 12 months under new regulations.
