Dominican Government begins land titling in El Naranjo

The Dominican government has launched a land titling project in the Batey El Naranjo sector, located within the San Luis municipal district. The initiative, part of the National Titling Plan, aims to benefit more than 3,200 people by providing approximately 800 property title certificates to local families.

According to the Technical Executing Unit for State Land Titling (UTECT), the process involves technical, social, and legal work, including land surveys and social censuses. The project is being carried out in coordination with the State Sugar Council (CEA) and covers specific plots within Cadastral District 30. UTECT Executive Director Duarte Méndez confirmed that the titling process will be free of charge for the beneficiary families.
