Dominican Liberation Party highlights electricity, crime, and food costs

The Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) has identified several critical issues currently affecting citizens in the Dominican Republic. Zoraima Cuello, vice president of the PLD, reported that during recent tours of various sectors, residents expressed deep concern regarding electricity service instability and high utility bills.

In addition to energy issues, the party highlighted rising crime rates and the presence of drug-related areas lacking effective police intervention. Economic pressures, specifically the increasing cost of food and a general loss of purchasing power, were also cited as major factors contributing to decreased sales for local merchants and financial hardship for households.
