On September 11, 2026, Danilo Medina led a massive assembly in Barahona, where 1,150 new members were sworn in, including former militants returning through the ‘Vuelta a Casa’ program. During the assembly, Medina called for mass participation in the internal consultation scheduled for October 18 to select the presidential candidate, urging members to vote ‘without fanaticism.’

These reorganization efforts have extended to several regions, including Neyba, Bahoruco, Independencia, La Vega, and Santiago, as well as the Dominican diaspora in Queens, New York, as the party prepares for the upcoming municipal, congressional, and general elections.
