PLD intensifies territorial reorganization in Dominican Republic
The Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) is executing a nationwide strategy to strengthen its territorial structure and reorganize its base ahead of the 2028 elections. As part of this effort, the party has inaugurated over 160 local offices across various communities, including a new headquarters in La Victoria.
In San Juan, the party held assemblies to implement its Organizational and Electoral Line (LOE), while in the southern region, leaders conducted informative sessions in Azua, Bahoruco, Independencia, and Pedernales. Additionally, presidential aspirant Gonzalo Castillo toured several localities in La Altagracia to discuss issues such as the cost of living, security, and infrastructure.
Party Secretary General Johnny Pujols emphasized that the organization is responding to political challenges through increased work intensity and territorial presence, aiming to capitalize on public sentiment and rebuild its political influence.
