Dominican Ministry of Education pays 12 billion pesos to 104,000 teachers

The Dominican Association of Teachers (ADP) announced that the Ministry of Education (Minerd) has deposited retroactive payments for approximately 104,000 teachers. These funds, totaling more than 12 billion pesos, correspond to the Teacher Performance Evaluation.

Menegildo De la Rosa, Secretary of Communications and Public Relations for the ADP, confirmed that the administrative files completed the processing phase at the institution's Human Resources Department ahead of the initial 45-day deadline. The union described the disbursement as an institutional victory resulting from constant pressure and monitoring by the ADP's National Executive Committee.
