ADP Communications Director Menegildo de la Rosa noted that a lack of recorded classes has made the review of planning and observation stages “somewhat subjective.” The union has threatened legal action against the Vice Ministry of Teacher Accreditation and Certification for withholding results, which prevents educators from receiving incentives and retroactive salary payments.
In response, Education Minister Luis Miguel De Camps is scheduled to present a report on October 12 regarding the 2025-2026 Teacher Performance Evaluation. This report aims to address the review of grades for 1,062 teachers and a schedule for the approximately 10,000 educators who have yet to complete the process.
Infrastructure efforts are also evolving, with accelerated maintenance in Puerto Plata under the “Plan Aulas247-365” and ongoing monitoring of school construction in Dajabón.
