Dominican Republic joins Geneva Consensus Declaration

The Dominican Republic has officially joined the Geneva Consensus Declaration, a global movement focused on promoting women's health, strengthening the family unit, and protecting human life. The declaration currently includes 43 signatory countries across five continents.

Archbishop Coadjutor of Santo Domingo, Mons. Carlos Tomás Morel Diplán, welcomed the nation's adhesion during a reception hosted by the United States Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Leah Francis Campos. The event was also attended by Dominican Foreign Minister Víctor O. Bisonó Haza and Bethany Kozma from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Ambassador Campos noted that the declaration addresses issues of sovereignty, aiming to counter pressures from large globalist NGOs and multilateral organizations that influence smaller or less wealthy nations.
