Dominican Republic launches Dominican Week in France 2026

Dominican Culture Minister Roberto Ángel Salcedo participated in the official launch of Dominican Week in France 2026 in Paris. The initiative, organized by the Dominican Embassy in collaboration with the Franco-Dominican Chamber of Commerce and Industry, aims to strengthen diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties between the two nations.

The program, scheduled for October 19 to 22, includes political, parliamentary, economic, and multilateral activities. Cultural highlights feature the exhibition ‘Archipiélago improbable. Los mundos dominicanos de José Castillo’ at the Maison de l’Amérique latine and the launch of the ‘República Dominicana × Cité internationale des arts’ artistic residency program to promote international mobility for Dominican artists.

Gastronomy is also a central component, featuring chef Dayanny de la Cruz, who will present a culinary fusion of Dominican and French flavors to represent the cultural exchange between the countries.
