Dominican Republic opens new traffic distributor in Sabaneta de Yásica

The Dominican government inaugurated a new traffic distributor at the Sabaneta de Yásica intersection, a project aimed at improving vehicle flow and road safety for drivers traveling to Moca, Gaspar Hernández and the province of Puerto Plata. The ceremony was led by Andrés Bautista, minister of the Presidency, representing President Luis Abinader, together with Espaillat governor Claritza Rochtte and Sabaneta de Yásica mayor Roely Thomas.

Officials said the RD$15 million work, executed by engineers Frendy Domínguez and Crisleidy Marte, will reduce collisions at the busy junction. In the same event, San Víctor mayor Pedro Estrella announced a RD$9.03 million renovation of the Ceiba de Madera sports court, including a new floor, roof and lighting.
