Dominican Republic police chief and Mexican municipal cadets focus on community security

In the Dominican Republic, National Police Director Major General Andrés Modesto Cruz Cruz said respect for citizens and among police members is the basis for quality service. He met with regional commanders in the Eastern region to assess challenges, stress direct contact with personnel, and plan actions to improve response and public safety.

In Mexico, 97 new municipal police officers graduated, with 78 joining Chihuahua’s public security department and 19 assigned to Delicias. The cadets completed 1,620 hours of training at the Instituto Superior de Seguridad Chihuahua, covering physical, tactical and professional skills, to increase patrols, territorial coverage and emergency response in the capital’s districts.
