Dominican Republic tourism roadshow held in Houston

Dominican Republic Tourism Minister David Collado led the 124th edition of his international roadshow in Houston, Texas, to promote the nation as a premier destination for tourism and investment.

Addressing more than 200 industry professionals, including travel agents, tour operators, and airline representatives, Collado highlighted Houston as a strategic market. The city currently ranks fifth among the country's primary markets of interest due to its high growth potential and connectivity.

The initiative focuses on direct engagement to strengthen commercial ties and expand business opportunities. A key component of this strategy is the DO Travel Rewards platform, which currently hosts over 35,000 registered travel agents to facilitate the promotion and sale of Dominican tourism services internationally.
