Dominican Republic: Social milestones and road infrastructure updates

In the Dominican Republic, the Fundación Todo es Posible is celebrating 26 years of social work. Founded in 2000 by producer Ángel Puello, the organization has implemented various community programs, including religious distribution projects such as ‘Un millón de Biblias para un millón de dominicanos’ and environmental initiatives like ‘Basura por comida,’ which exchanged waste for food to address urban sanitation and food security.

Separately, the RD Vial trust reported progress in national road safety and mobility during April 2026. Following record-breaking traffic during Holy Week, the institution deployed over 3,600 collaborators for the ‘Conciencia por la Vida 2026’ operation. The trust is also advancing the implementation of Solar LED lighting technology to improve nighttime visibility and energy efficiency across strategic highway sections.
