Donald Trump addresses Iran nuclear threats and Ukraine peace proposal

President Donald Trump has addressed escalating tensions in the Middle East and Eastern Europe, characterizing a potential military conflict with Iran as a ‘simple matter’ for the United States. Trump asserted that Tehran will not acquire nuclear weapons and suggested that the U.S. might strike the Jabal al-Fas nuclear facility ‘very soon.’ He noted that the U.S. maintains control over the Strait of Hormuz, though he claimed its strategic importance has diminished due to emerging oil pipeline alternatives.

Regarding the conflict in Ukraine, Trump announced that Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are traveling to Russia and Ukraine to present a proposal aimed at ending the four-year war. Trump also commented on geopolitical stability, stating his belief that Vladimir Putin does not intend to attack NATO territories.

On the domestic situation in Iran, Trump described the Iranian regime as ‘crazy’ and warned that a nuclear-armed Iran would threaten the existence of Israel and the Middle East. He further suggested the Iranian government is facing internal collapse due to economic pressures and international isolation.
