Donald Trump discusses Iran negotiations and nuclear prevention

U.S. President Donald Trump has commented on the ongoing tensions and potential for negotiations with Iran. Addressing reports of cyberattacks on water facilities in seven U.S. states, Trump dismissed claims that Iran was responsible, instead attributing the issue to the incompetence of the Minnesota governor.

Regarding diplomatic relations, Trump stated that while Iranians are highly motivated to reach an agreement, they are not yet prepared to enter into a proper deal. He emphasized his commitment to securing only high-quality agreements. Trump noted that Iran is facing severe internal challenges, including inflation rates near 300-350 percent, a devalued currency, and military forces that are not receiving salaries.

Trump also reiterated that the primary objective of U.S. actions is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. He claimed that previous military actions, including the use of B-2 bombers, were necessary to halt nuclear progress. He asserted that while Iran retains some missiles and drones, their capacity to manufacture and deploy effective attacks has been significantly diminished compared to previous months.
