Donald Trump to host gala for top TRUMP meme coin holders

President Donald Trump will host a gala dinner on November 22 for the top 185 holders of the TRUMP meme coin at his Trump National golf club in Virginia. According to the event organizers, seats are awarded to registered holders based on a time-weighted score that rewards long-term ownership, with a final snapshot to be taken on November 12.

While the top 29 attendees will participate in a VIP reception, the event page explicitly states that “no attendees will be granted a private meet & greet with the President.” The top four holders are scheduled to receive 18-karat gold Trump watches.

The announcement follows the recent failure of the Clarity Act in the Senate, which missed a key procedural vote 49-50 on September 15. Restrictions regarding Trump’s own cryptocurrency interests were a primary point of contention during the legislative process; Democrats argued that proposed ethics language failed to sufficiently require officials to divest from crypto or use blind trusts.

Financial disclosures indicate that Trump earned over $635 million from the meme coin in 2025, primarily through licensing royalties. His total crypto-related income for the year exceeded $1.2 billion.
