Trump also threatened to resume bombing Iran if the country breaches a newly signed 60‑day cease‑fire memorandum of understanding (MoU). The MoU, digitally signed by Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, calls for reopening Hormuz, lifting U.S. sanctions, and a $300 billion aid package for Iran’s economy. Despite the agreement, Trump warned, "We will bomb them until they comply," indicating that the United States remains prepared to act militarily if Tehran violates the truce.
