Donald Tusk’s government faces record low approval in new poll

A poll commissioned by Onet and conducted by SW Research on 15 October showed 51 % of respondents rating the Polish government negatively, 27.4 % positively and 21.6 % undecided. The same survey noted that in the June IBRiS trust poll, Prime Minister Donald Tusk held a 38.1 % trust rating, placing him third among politicians, while over half of respondents (57.6 %) said they did not trust him.

Earlier June polling cited by Super Express indicated that 54 % of Poles believed the government was performing poorly, with only 33 % giving a positive assessment. The coalition’s partner parties, Polish People’s Party and Poland 2050, fell below the electoral threshold, while New Left recorded 9.2 % support. These figures underscore growing public dissatisfaction ahead of the next parliamentary elections scheduled for 2025.
