Dong Nai police arrest three for illegal drug use and harboring

Police in Dong Nai province have arrested three individuals for organizing and harboring the illegal use of narcotics. The suspects, identified as Huynh Van Thanh (born 2008), Phan Nhut Hao (born 2007), and Pham Tuong Vy (born 2008), are residents of Nhon Trach Ward.

The investigation began after patrol officers noticed suspicious behavior from Thanh and Hao, both of whom tested positive for drugs during a rapid test. Following the discovery, authorities conducted an emergency search of Pham Tuong Vy’s rental room in the Phuoc Thuan neighborhood, where they seized drug paraphernalia.

The suspects admitted to using illegal substances at the residence on two separate occasions, specifically on August 31 and September 8, 2026. Vy reportedly was present and aware of the drug use occurring at the location. Local police have issued warnings to residents and rental property owners to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities related to narcotics.
