Dong Thap: 71 sets of martyr remains recovered in durian orchard

The K91 Team has recovered a total of 71 sets of martyr remains in a durian orchard located in Ngu Hiep commune, Dong Thap province. On September 21, the unit discovered five additional sets of remains: three at the Binh Hoa A temporary cemetery in Binh Hoa hamlet and two in Binh Long hamlet, Cho Gao commune.

The identities of the remains have not yet been determined. Some were found wrapped in tarpaulin or cloth. The orchard owner has cooperated with authorities, voluntarily allowing the search to proceed on their land, which was formerly an old cemetery.

Simultaneously, K91 Team members are expanding search operations in Prey Veng province, Cambodia, specifically in TroPang Thlok hamlet, Chaech commune, though no remains have been found there yet. Since the start of the 2026-2027 period, the team has recovered 152 sets of remains, bringing the total under the ‘500-day campaign’ to 220.
