Dongdaemun-gu to host 2026 Beer Festival with expanded scale

Dongdaemun-gu will host the 2026 Dongdaemun-gu Beer Festival at Jangan 1 Waterfront Park on August 28 and 29. Now in its third year, the festival operates under the slogan ‘Value of Togetherness,’ aiming to foster inclusivity and cultural exchange among diverse generations and backgrounds.

The event features a significant expansion in scale, with the number of participating craft breweries and food trucks doubled compared to the previous year. To improve visitor experience, a new QR code ordering system for food trucks will be implemented to minimize wait times.

In addition to food and drink, the festival includes cultural programs such as promotional booths run by international students and residents of migrant backgrounds. A charity project involving dart games will also be held to raise funds for local artists' creative activities.
