Dorota R. indicted for making medicinal claims about supplements

An indictment has been filed with the Warsaw-Śródmieście District Court against singer Dorota R. regarding the marketing of dietary supplements. The prosecution alleges that between May 7 and June 3, 2025, the singer used the platform X to claim that two products from her 'Doda D'eau' line possessed medicinal properties.

The products in question are 'Doda D'eau Mega Colostrum 60 capsules' and 'Doda D'eau Foods Hashi Gummies'. According to the prosecution, the singer provided audiovisual materials asserting that these supplements could treat Hashimoto's disease (chronic autoimmune thyroiditis) and other thyroid disorders. However, the products do not meet the legal requirements set by pharmaceutical law to be classified as medicines.

The case was initiated following a notification from the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate. Dorota R. has not pleaded guilty to the charges. If convicted under Article 130 of the Pharmaceutical Law, she faces a fine ranging from 10 to 540 daily rates, with each rate potentially amounting to between 10 and 2,000 PLN.
