Double homicide in Aigio, Greece claims mother and son, suspect arrested

In Aigio, Greece, a 54‑year‑old mother and her 26‑year‑old son were killed in a double homicide. Both victims suffered fatal wounds to the chest area; the mother sustained 43 knife stab wounds, while the son had a firearm injury to the forehead and five additional stab wounds. Police have identified a 65‑year‑old Italian man, a former inmate and partner of the mother, as the suspect and have charged him with murder with intent.
