DP World launches express ocean freight services for Asia and Europe

DP World has introduced two new Express Less-than-Container Load (LCL) ocean freight services to facilitate the movement of time-sensitive cargo between Asia, Europe, and North America ahead of the peak shipping season.

The Express LCL Asia–USA service connects manufacturing hubs in China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia with Los Angeles, followed by expedited inland delivery throughout the United States. The Express LCL Europe-USA service offers weekly bi-directional transit between consolidation hubs in Antwerp, Southampton, and Cork, and gateways in Chester, PA, and Wilmington, NC.

These services aim to provide a cost-effective alternative to air freight, offering door-to-door transit times of approximately 16–24 days for Asia-to-U.S. routes and 18–24 days for Europe-to-U.S. routes. The initiative is designed to help businesses manage supply chain uncertainty, constrained capacity, and elevated freight rates through consistent weekly departures and integrated inland transportation.
