DP World proposes US$1.3B expansion of Callao terminal in Peru

DP World has proposed an investment exceeding US$1.3 billion to expand its Callao terminal in Peru. This initiative marks the company’s 20th year of operations in the country, during which it has invested over US$1 billion in infrastructure, technology, and capacity expansion.

The expansion aims to increase terminal capacity to meet rising demand and enhance Peru’s connectivity with international trade routes. The Callao terminal serves as a critical logistics hub for the nation’s agricultural export sector, supporting the supply chains for products such as blueberries, grapes, mangoes, and asparagus as they move to global markets.
