DR Automobiles launches DR 5 and DR 6 SUVs with prices from €25,900

Italian carmaker DR Automobiles unveiled two new SUV models, the DR 5 and DR 6, at its Macchia d’Isernia plant. The DR 5 features a 1.4 L turbo‑charged gasoline T‑GDI engine delivering 158 hp, while the DR 6 is equipped with a 1.5 L turbo engine producing 180 hp (178 hp on the LPG variant). Both vehicles come with a seven‑speed DCT, level‑2 driver assistance, 12.3‑inch infotainment screens and a range of premium equipment such as LED lighting, panoramic roofs, leather upholstery and wireless charging. Prices start at €25,900 for the DR 5 gasoline version and €27,900 for the bifuel model; the DR 6 is listed at €30,900 but is offered at €26,900 during a June promotion. The launch expands DR Automobiles’ lineup in the competitive compact‑SUV segment, targeting affluent Italian consumers seeking high‑spec vehicles at relatively low cost.
