DR Automobiles launches PK8 pickup in Spain, targets 30 dealerships by 2027

DR Automobiles has expanded its Spanish range with the new DR PK8, a 4×4 pickup aimed at professionals in agriculture, construction, livestock and forestry. The model is powered by a 2.0‑litre turbo‑diesel engine delivering 136 hp and 320 Nm, paired with a six‑speed manual gearbox and selectable 2H, 4H and 4L drive modes. It offers 220 mm ground clearance, a 31° approach angle, 24° departure angle and can climb slopes up to 30 %. Load capacity reaches 830 kg, the cargo box holds 1 097 L, and the vehicle can tow up to 3 500 kg.

Company Country Manager Alessandro Renda said the brand plans to double its official dealer network, aiming for 30 outlets in Spain by 2027 after opening just over ten this year. He highlighted a competitive market where customers compare equipment, safety and warranty, and stressed the importance of clear information and after‑sales service to differentiate DR’s offerings.
