Dr. Héctor Cura Municipal Hospital acquires new emergency stretcher

The Dr. Héctor Cura Municipal Hospital in Olavarría has acquired a new high-tech hydraulic stretcher for its emergency shock room. The equipment was donated by the hospital's cooperative following a community campaign that included local businessman Jorge Sobarzo.

The hydraulic stretcher allows for various patient positions based on medical needs and facilitates easier transfers to other hospital services. Notably, it enables the taking of X-rays without needing to move the patient from the stretcher, which is critical in emergency situations.

Mayor Maximiliano Wesner stated that this addition is part of a broader Public Health System Investment and Strengthening Plan. Recent municipal investments in the local health system also include the acquisition of four new ambulances and new instrumentation for the emergency and guard services.
