Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO Super Limit-Breaking NEO DLC launches July 30, 2026
Bandai Namco announced that the Super Limit‑Breaking NEO downloadable content for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO will be released on 30 July 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam). The DLC adds a new solo mode, called Limit Breaker Journey, in which players choose a fighter, travel across a map, battle opponents and earn experience to upgrade six character stats and equip Battle Arts.
The expansion also introduces 33 additional playable characters drawn from the Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball GT series, four new Episode Battles, and four brand‑new stages. A free update will accompany the release, adding two combat mechanics – “Sparking! Boost”, which lets players spend large amounts of Skill Stock for a temporary attack power increase, and “Chain Blast”, which enables follow‑up attacks after sending an enemy airborne. Versions for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 are announced for a later date.
