Dragon Ball theme park proposed near Paris by Saudi investor

A major leisure project is being studied for the Cergy-Pontoise region near Paris, which could include a theme park dedicated to the ‘Dragon Ball’ franchise. The project is being driven by the Saudi Arabian company Qiddiya Investment Company and is planned for the site of the former Mirapolis park in Val-d’Oise.

The broader development is part of a multi-billion euro investment involving France and Saudi Arabia. Estimates suggest the total project could involve investments of several billion euros and potentially create between 20,000 and 22,000 jobs. While a world-first official Dragon Ball park is already under development in Saudi Arabia, discussions are underway to establish a similar presence in France.

Specific details regarding attractions, themed zones, or an official opening date have not yet been released. The proposal has met with some local concerns regarding economic viability, the scale of the complex, and the lack of consultation with local residents and officials.
