Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World reveals online features

New details have been released for Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World, focusing on online features, the Battle Arena, and the roguelike mode known as Wrangler’s Gauntlet.

Online content, including Online Joint Battles, becomes available after players progress through the main story. These modes support cross-platform play, allowing users on different gaming systems to play together. In Joint Battles, players can team up to fight massive monsters, participate in daily quests, and engage in special events featuring famous monsters from the Dragon Quest series.

Players can communicate during battles using preset messages. Utilizing healing and support skills on allies triggers a Team Bonus, which increases damage output and healing effectiveness. Additionally, players can earn various colored monster eggs as rewards from online challenges to expand their rosters.
