DragonForce announces tenth album and new vocal lineup
The British power metal band DragonForce has announced their tenth studio album, a self-titled release set for March 19, 2027, via Napalm Records. The upcoming record marks a significant lineup change, featuring new vocalists Alissa White-Gluz and Alessio Garavello. Garavello joins the group following Marc Hudson’s decision to step back from performing due to tinnitus.
To preview the new era, the band released the lead single and music video, ‘Hunger of the Beast’. The track was specifically composed to highlight the contrasting vocal ranges of White-Gluz and Garavello. The album was produced by Jens Bogren and recorded in several locations, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Sweden.
In addition to the new vocalists, the band has added rhythm guitarist Billy Wilkins to the lineup. Longtime members Herman Li, Sam Totman, Gee Anzalone, and Alicia Vigil remain part of the group. The band is also scheduled to embark on a North American tour this fall to celebrate the 20th anniversary of ‘Inhuman Rampage’.
