DreamWorks Animation to release ‘Forgotten Island’ on September 25

DreamWorks Animation is set to release ‘Forgotten Island’, an original animated fantasy adventure, in U.S. theaters on September 25. Directed by Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado, the film draws heavily on Filipino mythology and explores themes of friendship and memory through a stylized 2D-and-3D animation hybrid.

The story follows two best friends, Jo and Raissa, who become stranded in the mystical realm of Nakali. The voice cast includes H. E. R., Liza Soberano, Dave Franco, Jenny Slate, Manny Jacinto, Dolly de Leon, Jo Koy, Ronny Chieng, and Lea Salonga.

In conjunction with the film's release, Jollibee has launched a limited-time promotion in North America through October 31, 2026. The collaboration features themed meal bundles, collectible bracelet charms, and a new Calamansi Lemonade beverage. Additionally, a clothing collection inspired by the film’s 1990s setting is available via the Jolly Merch Shop.
