The tailoring simulation game Dressmaker has launched on PC and Mac via Steam. Developed by Cozy Lives and published by Free Lives, the title focuses on a detailed, tactile dressmaking process. Players engage in every stage of garment creation, including selecting fabrics such as silk, linen, and velvet, sketching designs, cutting patterns, and using a sewing machine to assemble pieces.

The game features two primary modes: a commission mode where players fulfill specific requests from town residents to earn reputation and currency, and a boutique mode for selling original designs. Before its release, the game garnered significant interest, exceeding 400,000 wishlists on Steam. Upon launch, it saw a notable player turnout, with reports indicating over 8,000 simultaneous players.

Following the PC release, the developers have confirmed plans for a Nintendo Switch port due to high fan demand, though a specific release date has not yet been announced.
