Drew McIntyre discusses late wrestler PAC and rivalry with CM Punk

WWE wrestler Drew McIntyre recently shared reflections on his career and professional relationships during various media appearances. Speaking on the podcast ‘What’s Your Story? With Steph McMahon’, McIntyre recalled his early interactions with the late Benjamin Satterley, known professionally as PAC. McIntyre described meeting Satterley on the United Kingdom independent wrestling circuit in 2006 and 2007, noting Satterley’s precision and high-flying style. He highlighted their shared history, including a 2006 match in London where Satterley defeated McIntyre. McIntyre also expressed pride in the increased representation of British and Scottish wrestlers in major promotions.

In a separate appearance on ‘Raw Talk’ with Bradley Martyn, McIntyre addressed his professional rivalry with CM Punk. While acknowledging that their onscreen chemistry is effective for audiences, McIntyre expressed a strong personal dislike for Punk. He characterized Punk as someone who maintains a professional corporate persona backstage while being difficult to work with, suggesting that Punk is motivated to behave well because he has limited options remaining in the industry.
