The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized suspected narcotic drugs valued at approximately Rs 3.41 crore at the Pune Railway Junction. During an intelligence-led operation on August 25, officers intercepted a female passenger traveling from Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station in Delhi.

A search of the passenger's baggage revealed 2,532 grams of a crystalline substance suspected to be amphetamine and 878 grams of tablets suspected to contain MDMA. The woman was arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Authorities are conducting further investigations to identify the source of the drugs, their intended destination, and potential links to larger trafficking networks.
