Drishyam: The Conclusion sees massive advance bookings ahead of release
The upcoming Hindi thriller ‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’, directed by Abhishek Pathak, is seeing massive advance booking numbers ahead of its October 2 release. Reports indicate that over 3.5 lakh to 4.2 lakh tickets have been sold across hundreds of cities, with gross pre-sales estimated between 15 and 17 crore rupees. Trade analysts project a strong opening day, potentially reaching 50 to 60 crore rupees.
The film, which stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Jaideep Ahlawat, has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a U/A 16+ rating and zero cuts. The runtime is 150 minutes, making it the second-longest entry in the franchise. Unlike previous installments, this version is not an adaptation of the Malayalam original.
To maintain plot secrecy, director Abhishek Pathak reportedly restricted access to the script’s climax even among many crew members on set. He also spent months monitoring online fan theories to ensure the film’s twists remained unexpected.
