Droneland sci-fi miniseries to premiere on MagentaTV

The sci-fi thriller miniseries ‘Droneland’ is set to premiere on MagentaTV on October 8. Based on the novel by Tom Hillenbrand, the series depicts a dystopian near-future Europe characterized by omnipresent drone surveillance and advanced data analysis.

The story follows ex-soldier Aart Westerfeld, played by Oliver Masucci, who is recruited by Europol Chief Katarina Kush, played by Sibel Kekilli, for a sensitive mission. In this setting, crime investigation has shifted from traditional on-site forensics to digital reconstruction, where investigators use 3D digital recordings to analyze crime scenes by pausing or rewinding time.
