Drunen and Westerlee host free summer activity weeks for children

The JVV (Jeugd Vakantie Vreugd) activities week in Drunen runs from Saturday 15 August to Saturday 22 August. The programme includes 90 free activities for children aged 4‑12, such as a toneel workshop on 19 August for ages 8‑12, free for local youth, refugees and children from neighbouring municipalities. Registration is open online until 26 July.

In Westerlee, a festival week takes place from 11 to 15 August. Highlights include a jubilee theatre performance by Toneelvereniging Dindua on 11 August, a children’s day with games on 12 August, a 74‑km auto‑puzzle route, a bingo night on 13 August, a HI ROK sport challenge for youths and adults on 14 August, beach volleyball and a concert series on 15 August.
