DTU and Danish Intelligence Service partner on defense tech

The Technical University of Denmark (DTU), the Danish Defence Intelligence Service (FE), and Industriens Fond have formed a partnership to develop a new innovation model for defense technologies. The initiative, titled 'From Intelligence to Business,' aims to accelerate the translation of intelligence requirements into technological solutions through close collaboration between authorities, universities, and private companies.

The partnership focuses on high-tech sectors including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, sensors, data analysis, and automation. The goal is to bridge the gap between academic research and practical operational needs, providing Danish startups and small to medium-sized enterprises with insight into a traditionally closed defense market to strengthen national and European security.
