Dubai and Abu Dhabi enhance tourism through culinary prestige and visa incentives

Dubai is gaining significant recognition in the global culinary landscape, securing over 20 spots in the latest MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants rankings. High-ranking establishments such as Kinoya, Trèsind Studio, Orfali Bros, Sufret Maryam, Jun’s, Manao, and Moonrise occupy top positions, highlighting the city's competitive standing alongside major food capitals like Paris and Tokyo.

In Abu Dhabi, the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi) has launched a three-month pilot program to encourage tourism from India. Under this initiative, Indian passport holders can receive a complimentary UAE entry visa when booking qualifying holiday packages. To be eligible, travelers must book a minimum of three consecutive nights in Abu Dhabi and include a return flight from India through approved partners, such as Akbar Travels. The pilot program is valid for travel occurring between August 1 and October 31, 2026.
