Dubai Electronic Security Center and Microsoft launch cybersecurity dashboard

The Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) and Microsoft have collaborated to launch a Zero Trust assurance dashboard designed to provide real-time visibility into the cybersecurity posture of Dubai Government entities.

Announced at GISEC Global 2026, the dashboard moves away from periodic, self-reported assessments toward continuous monitoring. It evaluates performance against the Dubai Information Security Regulation (ISR) across 13 domains. The system utilizes Microsoft security signals to identify 37 different types of findings, including risky identities, device compliance, privileged access, and active vulnerabilities.

Following a successful pilot phase involving two government entities, the initiative is set for a broader rollout to more than 80 additional government organizations across the Emirate. The dashboard provides actionable guidance in both Arabic and English to help IT teams resolve identified security gaps.
