Dubai introduces new visa application channel and exclusive tourism club
Dubai is expanding its tourism infrastructure through two major initiatives. The city plans to launch a direct tourist visa application channel via the official Visit Dubai website during November 2026. This new service will support both single and multiple entry applications, though the General Directorate for Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai will maintain responsibility for assessing and issuing all visas.
Additionally, the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) and GDRFA Dubai have unveiled the ‘Dubai Access Club’. Launched by Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, this invitation-only membership programme is designed to reward frequent visitors. Members may receive a five-year multiple-entry visa, shopping credits, hotel upgrades, and other exclusive privileges to encourage repeat visitation and strengthen the city’s position as a global business and leisure hub.
