Dubai tourism and visa service initiatives
Overview
In November 2026, Dubai announced two major initiatives to enhance its tourism sector. Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum introduced the Dubai Access Club, an invitation-only membership program designed to reward frequent visitors with exclusive benefits such as hotel upgrades, shopping credits, and potentially five-year multiple-entry visas.
Alongside this club, the emirate is integrating single- and multiple-entry tourist visa applications directly into the official Visit Dubai platform. While the new channel aims to simplify the visitor journey, the General Directorate for Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai will retain responsibility for assessing and issuing all visas.
