Balkan summer music festivals attract crowds across Montenegro, Bosnia and Croatia

A series of summer music events are drawing large audiences across the Balkans. In Ulcinj, Montenegro, the Festival of Young Artists opened on August 8 with Rambo Amadeus' ecological opera "Pasija po Steli," featuring the Montenegrin Youth Orchestra and soprano Natalija Radić.

Nikšić, Montenegro hosted the second edition of the SyNK Jazz on the Square festival, presenting jazz, soul, blues and ethno acts from Slovenia, Serbia, Italy, Romania and the host country.

In Dubrovnik, Croatia, singers Miach and Peki performed their first joint concert at Park Orsula, blending pop, trap and hip‑hop.

The Pulson wind orchestra gave a program of film scores, pop and rock hits in Pula, conducted by Jasmine Lorin.

A violin‑electronic showcase in Derventa, Bosnia and Herzegovina featured violinist Natalija Todorović and DJ Nikola Zgonjanin, combining classical themes with modern DJ rhythms.
