Dubrovnik reports traffic reductions and new urban projects

Dubrovnik has reported several significant developments regarding urban management and international recognition. In the city's participatory budgeting cycle, “Za bolji Grad”, citizens selected 25 projects for local districts and committees, with implementation scheduled for 2027.

Traffic management measures in Dubrovnik have shown results, with a recorded decrease of nearly 192,000 vehicle entries in the special traffic zone between April and September 2026 compared to the previous year. Additionally, Dubrovnik was ranked as the sixth-best small city in the world by Condé Nast Traveler in its 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards.

In social policy, Mayor Mato Franković signed six new contracts aimed at providing housing for young people.
